Add privacy-friendly analytics through a theme or header plugin.
Add the script
Paste the tracker snippet into Appearance → Theme File Editor or use a header/footer plugin. Prefer a child theme so updates do not overwrite the change.
Verify collection
Open your site, then watch onboarding. The project stays pending until a recent non-bot pageview, or a track event named analytica_install_test, arrives from an allowed origin. The tracker stores a visitor id in localStorage. It does not set an analytics cookie.
